Take a Minute to Take a Labor Day Quiz
Starting today, the AFL-CIO Labor Day “Quiz of the Day” at the Labor Day 2006 website will give you a chance to test your knowledge of labor history, current working family issues—and, of course, the “union difference.”
The quiz runs through Sept. 4 and a different question will be posted daily at 2 p.m. EST on the Labor Day 2006 site. The first person to submit the correct answer wins a Got a Boss? Get a Union coffee mug from The Union Shop Online.™ Click here for contest rules.
After you answer the question, take some time and cruise around to some of the other features, including FAQs about Labor Day, the latest on the unique Labor in the Pulpits program and links to e-cards, games and union-made-in-the-USA gear and gifts.
Don’t forget to find out all about YOYOs and WITTs from Jared Bernstein, senior economist for the Economic Policy Institute.
