Video Clips: DLC Backs Bill on Workers’ Freedom to Form Unions

Workers picked up some high-powered support for legislation to strengthen their freedom to choose union representation today when the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) endorsed the Employee Free Choice Act. This is the first time the AFL-CIO and the DLC, whose ranks include 60 members of Congress, have worked together on a major bill. Check out excerpts from the DLC’s news conference Sept. 6 endorsing the union movement-backed legislation.
