Greetings from the Windy City. Tonight, seven presidential candidates—Sens. Joe Biden, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Chris Dodd, Barack Obama, former Sen. John Edwards, Rep. Dennis Kucinich and New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson—will take the stage at Soldier Field before an audience of nearly 15,000 union members.
I’ll be live-blogging the event, live from Soldier Field. Check back for constant updates as the candidates debate working families issues.
Keith Olbermann will moderate what AFL-CIO President John Sweeney has called the “biggest job interview in history.”
Remember, the candidates will tackle the questions you want answered. Coverage of the forum starts at 7 p.m. EDT (6 p.m. CDT) on both MSNBC and XM Radio.
In the meantime, you can watch video statements from the candidates to prepare for what’s sure to be a feisty discussion.

The Union membership began from CEO’ greed. Today the differance between the CEO’s compensation package and their employee’s wages is at greater defiect then it was then. What is even more disgusting is the total disregard by judges, Congress and CEO’s of the promised (negotiated) benefits to all workers but especially the retiree’s who go out with signed contractual benefits and pensions and then watch as judges strip these negotiated signed contractual agreements away in bankruptcy. I have yet to see any governmental agency or judge strip the compensation packages of the retireed executives. Why?
