Want to add a little green to the Earth and your wallet? Check out this trio of new offers from Union Plus that can save you some green on high-efficient home heating equipment, union-made “green” cars and trucks and an energy audit for your home.
If you’re a union member who heats your home with oil and live in the Boston area, Connecticut, Maryland, southern New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island or Northern Virginia, you can sign up for the Union Plus Home Heating Oil Discount.
The plan is provided by Heat USA and benefits include:
- Savings of up to $300 annually;
- A free service contract with a highly rated local service company; and
- $100 rebate for increasing your own energy-efficiency.

Through the Union Plus Auto Buying Service, you can get $200 in rebates and a union-made vehicle that the Environmental Protection Agency certifies as “green” based on the vehicle’s mileage and emission.
The service already provides a $100 discount to union members and their families when they purchase a union-made vehicle, and now if you buy an EPA-Certified “green” car or truck, there’s an additional $100 rebate coming your way.

If you own a single-family home, chances are you spend at least $1,500 a year in energy costs and some of that energy, along with your hard-earned dollars, may escape through leaky doors, windows and ducts.
The best way to find out just how energy efficient, or inefficient, your home may be is through a thorough home-energy audit that will identify the improvements needed to save energy and money.
The Union Plus Energy Audit Rebate can save you up to $250 on those improvements, such as insulation, a programmable thermostat, duct sealing, Energy State appliances and more, when you use your Union Plus credit card to make the energy improvement purchases. Click here to learn more.
