Across the country, hundreds of AFSCME health care workers made house calls for health care reform this weekend.

Across the country this weekend, AFSCME nurses and community leaders made house calls, getting their neighbors mobilized to pass health care reform that provides affordable coverage to everyone. These nurses and volunteers asked the people they visited to contact their senators and House members and demand health care reform that really works.

Clad in green scrubs, the AFSCME members went door to door in key states, including Arkansas, Nebraska, Maine, Ohio, North Dakota, Louisiana, Indiana and Delaware. Working America members also took part in door-to-door canvasses for health care reform.

Valentina Zamora-Arreola, a registered nurse in Arkansas, said that health care workers see every day the need for a fairer system:

One of the most important things that we want to see is that healthcare reform is done right. We want to make sure that nurses have their voice out there. We deal with the people when they are sick and we want to make sure that we are looking at healthcare reform options and that we have a public health option.

AFSCME volunteers have carried out an active health care campaign throughout the year.

Today, at the Demos conference, A Better Deal 2009, a panel on health care costs focused on the link between the high levels of uninsured and underinsured young people and the crippling debt they face, as well as the need to make sure health coverage is affordable and available to everyone. The need to build a new, better health care system is critical to a stronger, fairer new economy for the future.

    TO ALL SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN.

If you do not support a public option for
    health care reform.
    NO voter support for re-election.

No lobby is bigger then the working
people of America. Votes will be cast
for those that support we the people.

We expect health care reform, with a
    public option.

We expect an end to WAR.

We expect fair taxation, and removal of
tax exemptions, and corporation tax cuts.

We expect jobs for Americans, not out-sourcing, or foreign labor forces.

We expect change on foreign policy.

Unions will again make the difference
at the voting booths of America.

ElBaradei says nuclear Israel number one threat to Mideast: report 04 Oct 2009 Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ElBaradei said Sunday that “Israel is number one threat to Middle East” with its nuclear arms, the official IRNA news agency reported. At a joint press conference with Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization chief Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran, ElBaradei brought Israel under spotlight and said that the Tel Aviv regime has refused to allow inspections into its nuclear installations for 30 years, the report said. “Israel is the number one threat to the Middle East given the nuclear arms it possesses,” ElBaradei was quoted as saying.
‘Israel will attack Iran after December’ 15 Oct 2009 Israel is planning to carry out military attacks in Iran after December, a French magazine reported Thursday overnight. According to a report in Le canard enchainé quoted by Israel Radio, Jerusalem has already ordered from a French food manufacturer high-quality combat rations for soldiers serving in elite units and also asked reservists of these units staying abroad to return to Israel. Amendment One: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the right of people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

NO RELIGIOUS STATE ANYWHERE, SHOULD HAVE AMERICAN SUPPORT.

We are occupied by Israel just as the Palestinians are, but in a different way: Through bribes and pressure on every member of our government. No person can be president without the approval of AIPAC–the Israeli lobby.( The organized Crime syndicate )

Israelis and their American servants are trying to pass laws that would make saying anything critical of Israel or the Jews anywhere in the world, a criminal offense. Hate crimes laws are the beginning, and there are actually those in our government trying to shut down our freedom of speech as it has been shut down in most of Europe. What will Americans do then?

This foreign lobby (AIPAC) and the espionage involved with Israel puts the national security of the United States, in the gravest jeopardy, yet our government officials continue to take the bribes, listen to their think tanks, and continue appointments of members to important positions.—— Israeli engineers have developed much of the American military’s cutting—edge weapons technology in recent years, that in itself makes no sence.AIPAC is discredited in the eyes of the American public as a nest of spies, but our officials ignor our concerns.
PEACE 4 ALL—TAKE DOWN THE WALL!!!!!!!!

Out in the grassroots, workers are mighty angry at the thought their health care benefits could be taxed in a health care reform plan.
