Just hours after the House put finishing touches on a state aid/jobs bill that will prevent the layoffs of hundreds of thousands of teachers, public employees, police officers and firefighters in cash-strapped states, President Obama signed it into law.

Bet this doesn’t make John Boehner’s photo album.

I am all in favor of keeping Teachers and Cops employed but why does every Taxpayer have to contribute. Why hasen’t the Local State, County and Municipalities adjusted there budgets to pay for these services. It appears that the Local politicans like keeping the taxes down in there area and than let the federal Govt make up the difference. They don’t make any attempt to streamline there operations they just let the high costs pile up.

All levels of government are paid for by taxpayers, whether by corporations or individuals. All levels of government operate in open sessions, so please take advantage of them and voice your opinions there.

You are missing my point, I am trying to say that States, County’s and municipalities control their Local work force. If they don’t pass a budget to cover the costs to save their own ass’s than why should the rest of the country have to chip in to cover their costs. The Stimulas money was supposed to create Jobs instead the States used it to save Jobs. Is that the same as creating Jobs?

Jobs!!! If the change we needed in 2008 (H.R.2830) had been voted on in the Senate after passing the house 395-7, according to a report prepared for Congress in Dec2009 this type of legislation would have caused the cost of foreign imports to rise as the legislation would require mostly foreign ships to retrofit with new technology to keep our water clean. Now the president dose not bother to instruct the Senate to work out the States rights issues of just one Senator. Senator Boxer stop this legislation that could have created a cost competitive manufacturing base again in America. Now our president as commander and chief has another study with the military to coincide with their two decade plan to follow an international organization of economic interest rather than American legislation to regulate what numeric limits of human pathogens and virus we will allow mainly foreign ships bringing foreign made goods into our country to dump in our waters. It is to bad that economic globalization is considered more important by this administration than increasing our manufacturing competitiveness and protecting our waters.

I sure do not understand how American labor unions can support these people.
