California Latino Voters Say Fiorina ‘No Es Mi Amiga’

Carly Fiorina, California Republican U.S. Senate candidate, shares a wide range of skewed views straight out of the Sarah Palin manifesto. But there is one key Palinesque policy she embraces that she’d just a soon the state’s Latino voters didn’t dwell on.
Fiorina, who casts herself as friend of Latinos, is a strong and strident supporter of Arizona’s anti-immigrant law that civil rights groups denounce as discriminatory and an open to door to racial profiling. As a U.S. senator, Fiorina very well could back a national anti-immigrant law patterned after Arizona’s.
Today the California Labor Federation, Brave New Films and SEIU California unveiled a new bilingual video, “Carly No Es Mi Amiga” (Carly is Not My Friend) that exposes her anti-immigrant agenda and close ties to Palin’s radical and inflammatory immigration rhetoric. Says Art Pulaski, California Labor Federation executive secretary-treasurer:
She’s pushing more of the same failed policies that destroyed our economy and forced millions of Latinos and other workers into the unemployment line. The last thing California Latinos need is Carly’s anti-immigrant, job-slashing agenda.

Mike Hall are you really this ignorant of the situation with the south border? The issue is not immigration and the Arizona law is not about immigration, it is ILLEGAL immigration. Good grief Mike, even if you disagree with the Arizona law be honest about what the real issue is. As a dues paying union member I am getting tired of guys like you who apparently really do not care about the U.S. legal citizen union member. Be American first and dump the Democratic party when they so blatantly don’t care about the U.S. citizen and what is best for America.
And another thing, how many union jobs have been and will be taken away because of the high number of illegal immigrants? And how many union tax dollars are we having to lose from our paycheck to pay for illegals. The truth is most union members are fed up with this horse manure and our leaders need to wake up and smell the roses or our unions will continue to lose market share. Personally, if the Latinos don’t like it they can kiss my legal U.S. citizen German behind. As I kick them back across the border.
I would like to say Ditto to ibewman. When are the “So-called” leaders in America going to wake the hell up and rid us of the parasitic illegals. I don’t care what they think. They need to pack up and go home if they are here illegally. We are stuck with a potus who does NOT respect American Citizens, and the gang that backs him up getting outrageous incomes, and illegals getting free everything. How are Americans going to survive when the deck is stacked against us by the political machine?

Oh My! Another thing! Mr. Pulaski from Labor Federation! There is
now a Film paid for by American Labor in Mexican that says an
American is not the Friend of Mexicans? What is going on? Is the
price of Mex Votes, (legal?) so important? Or are there so many
Foreign-Illegal workers on American Jobs that took our Work away
from us that the only way to Organize is to cow-town to these Mexs
and simply wait in your Offices while they come in and pay a reduced
Initiation Fee? Doesn’t anyone do the outside job of Checking and
keeping Union Workers from being replaced by Illegals. The
California Labor today would make the REAL Labor Giants who
let their blood soak the ground in our Country, who wrote Labor’s
History with honor, with Love of Union, with sweat in the Mines
and in Construction, and in the Trucks, (except what Bush did to
let all Mex Trucks come in to the U.S.) what is happening? Does
anyone remember the ALAMO? For Shame You so-Called Unions
of California!
I wish I could vote for her,a person who really cares about the American Worker and the problems illegal immigration causes them. We need many more candidates like her.
These confused brothers are using racist hysteria as an excuse to back a union-hating, millionaire crook in her efforts to buy a senate seat so as to do even more to destroy jobs, unions and the environment. What have immigrants done to you, to make you lose your mind so?
Ah, the plight of the poor, downtrodden white man. It makes me want to cry.
1) Do you know what Italians, Irish, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Mexicans have in common immigration, ILLEGAL immigration, anti-immigrant law and discrimination; some came though Canada and Mexico. So would natural born American be deported if their parents were not US citizen and how far back would you go? Are you a legal citizen?
2) Corporation will outsource or privatize (one in the same) jobs out of the country because they get a tax break, write off, kick back and hide profits over seas.
3) Local businesses turn a blind eye to immigration, unless fined. Well we don’t want to hold businesses accountable, that picking on business and the free market.
4) Also Latinos are here to stay illegal or not, get over it. The problem is not here, it is in Mexico. You do not have Canadians coming across the border in groves, other than the drug runners and why is that?
5) To be able to vote in American you need to prove you are a US citizen.
6) Solution; fix south of the border i.e. Mexico. and the problem will go away.

Remember the Alamo? Really? You guys have the misfortune of having been born in the wrong century. You should have been born around 1825. That way, you could have fought in the War to Steal Half of Mexico. Then, if you survived the malaria, you could have fought for the South in their failed War to Make Sure Black Folks Never Achieve Equality. If you somehow survived that, you could then go out West and slaughter Indians with General Custer.
Here is a kernel of truth for you to mull over while you drink the next sixpack: white folks in the US have virtually stopped having babies, immigration by poor folks with dark skin will not stop no matter what police-state schemes you come up with, and they have a lot more kids. That is why more and more states are becoming majority non-white, as the whole country will within 30 years or so. White people will then be a minority, too. In fact, most of us will be mixed, like Obama, and my kids. (At least you will still have your all-white Republicans.)
By the way, MEX is not a language. The language is Spanish, spoken all over the world, a language that has named many of our United States, because originally those areas were Spanish colonies and not English. It is a language spoken by more and more Americans, and it is here to stay. Buena suerte.

The southwest will never be part of Mexico again and the war between the states was not over salvery it started as a states rights issue.If your going to tell the history of the US you should at least get it right.You may be right about the illegals literally SCREWING us out of our country if something isn’t done to send them home.
